JOB OVERVIEW • Job ID: IHS-0271-01• Specialty: Hospitalist – Internal Medicine/Family Medicine • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Shiprock, New Mexico • Facility Type: Hospital • Service Setting: Inpatient • Coverage Period: Potential for a long term contract • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Clinical Schedule: Mon-Sun, 7:30am-7:30pm (12 hr shifts) - 7 days on and 7 days off. • Patient Demographics: Full age spectrum • Patient Volume: TBC • Admissions: Yes • Rounding included: Yes • % of Practice: 100% Direct Patient Care • Beds in the Dept: Approximately 55 inpatient beds - Including a 5-bed ICU • EMR: TBC • Hospital Privileges required: Yes • Temporary Privileges available: Yes • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: • Active unrestricted license in any State or U.S. territory • Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine or American Board of Family Practice • BLS • ACLS • NPI • DEA License • Minimum of 3 years of physician experience • Minimum of 1 year of inpatient Hospitalist experience. • Recent inpatient and ICU experience required.
